A massive landslide following torrential rains from the monsoon season led to the flood of the hydropower construction tunnel in the state of Uttarakhand in India, resulting in the death of seven workers, injuries to 13 others, and disappearance of three people. Rescuing efforts are underway at present for rescuing people from the flooded tunnel with the help of rafts and special equipment.
